What does the salt shaker rating mean?
The Salt-O-Meter measures how mad, frustrated, or salty a movie left you, from 0 to 10 shakers. A cheap death, a nonsense ending, or a wasted three hours pushes the score up — 10 shakers means maximum salt.
How is saltiness different from the star rating?
Stars measure how good a movie actually was — craft, story, performances — out of 10. Saltiness measures your emotional reaction. A film can score high on both: brilliant and salty at the same time.
What's the difference between an official verdict and a community review?
Every movie gets one official Salty Cinema verdict. Anyone can sign in and add their own community review alongside it, rating both quality and saltiness.
